Caterpillars & Inchworms

Organic and biological control measures for invasive infestations.

A balanced population of caterpillars and inchworms only do some light feeding on trees while providing birds and natural beneficial bugs with a steady food source. However due to some misguided human tampering, such as the failed attempt at starting a US textile industry in the 1970s, some non-native species like the Gypsy Moth have been introduced to our delicate ecosystem, causing occasional outbreaks that sometimes threaten our trees’ health and safety.

Our carefully-timed organic control methods help to maintain a balance of acceptable caterpillar and inchworm activity.
